speaker speaking to group of people
Joyce Eggleston, Health Access Care Coordinator, MHCCHW speaks to a group during a Ladies First seminar at New College Institute earlier this year. Joyce is also a trained breast health educator through Susan G. Komen.

Komen’s mission to end breast cancer would not be possible without volunteers. Most everyone has been affected by breast cancer in one way or another. If you are interested in giving back to the Martinsville-Henry County community, the Coalition will be a hosting a Susan G. Komen Breast Educator training on Tuesday, June 19 from 11: 00 AM – 1:00 PM at the West Piedmont Business Development Center, 22 East Church St, Martinsville, VA 24112.

The participants who complete the training will receive a certificate, which will allow them to speak and educate women and men in our community on behalf of Komen.

To register, click here or call 276.638.0787. Registration must be completed by Sunday, June 17, 2018.
