Bassett Family Practice (BFP) is a federally granted Community Health Center located in the heart of Bassett, Virginia.  Bassett Family Practice is committed to providing comprehensive, primary health care services to medically underserved residents of Henry County and the neighboring areas of Patrick and Franklin Counties, regardless of the ability to pay.

Julia Hodnett, FNP

Julia Hodnett, FNP

Julia is a former Registered Nurse practicing as a Nurse Practitioner. She has an undergraduate degree from Eastern Mennonite University and a graduate degree from Duke University School of Nursing. Her internships and training have primarily been in sliding fee clinics. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She brings with her extensive experience with her strong nursing background and a passion to serve.

Felecia McBride, FNP

Felecia McBride, FNP

Felecia McBride joined the Coalition in October 2019. She obtained a Post Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate in 2013 from East Tennessee State University. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with her Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) from East State Tennessee University.

Felecia brings a wealth of experience with her including six years of practicing as a pediatric nurse practitioner, working with cardiac patients as a nurse for seven years, which included two and a half years as a travel nurse. She also has six years of serving as a nursing instructor.

Outside of the office, Felecia enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter and her beagle, reading and traveling to new places.

Alisa Branch, LPC

Alisa Branch, LPC

Alisa Branch is Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro with a Master of Science Degree in Community Agency Counseling and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Branch will collaborate with other providers and work with children, adolescents and adults in treating mental and behavioral concerns. She will divide her time between both offices – Bassett Family Practice and Ridgeway Family Health.
