Local COVID-19 task force has established testing site

April 8th marked the opening of the COVID-19 testing site at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville-Henry County. The testing site will not be open to the public. In order to enter the site and be tested, individuals must have an order from a doctor and be a resident of Martinsville, Henry or Patrick counties. The site is scheduled to be opened beginning April 8th on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Individuals will remain in their car and will be registered upon arrival. Test results will be provided to the doctor who referred them and the doctor will contact the patient. The testing is free of charge.
