Learning about germs and more at Clearview Early Childhood Center

Dr. Seuss sign about coughing

Clearview Early Childhood Center, a part of Martinsville City Public Schools, hosts an annual “Cub Carnival” event to teach children in their Pre-K program about healthy initiatives, such as eating healthy foods, how germs are spread, brushing their teeth properly, fire safety and so much more!

Brittany Anthony,  our Marketing Director, did a fun demonstration with the children to show what happens when we cough and/or sneeze without covering our mouths to help prevent spreading germs and showed them to wash their hands for the duration of fun songs, such as the “ABC song,” while Ann Walker, FAMIS/Medicaid Outreach Advocate, talked to the parents about Medicaid coverage and kids being seen at our clinics, Bassett Family Practice and Ridgeway Family Health.
