The Martinsville Henry County Coalition for Health and Wellness is excited to host a contest that is currently open to ages K-12 in Henry County and Martinsville. We are encouraging all children those ages to participate and show off their their creativity by drawing a picture with the theme “What does a healthy community mean to me?”. Prizes will be awarded for the best artwork and the overall art contest winners will have their art used in MHC Coalition for Health and Wellness publications, marketing materials and displayed in clinics (Bassett Family Practice, Ridgeway Family Health and the MHC Community Dental Clinic).
Criteria: Artwork must be done by hand and they may use colored pencils, crayons or markers. Artwork should be submitted to the child’s school office. **Please include in pencil on the back, bottom right of artwork: Student’s First/Last Name, School, Grade and Parent’s Email address**.
